As communication between the detainee and his family is of great importance and positive impact on both the detainee and his family, work has been undertaken to provide communication services between detainees and related parties via several means:
· Electronic messages: this mean allows the exchange of messages between detainees and their families to enable each of them to send and receive messages including:
- Text messages
- Video messages
- Audio messages
- Greetings, congratulations and events cards.
· Phone calls: this service allows communication between detainees and their families through voice call (but not video call) in a secured electronic method.
· Secured video calls: an advanced service the enables direct real-time video and audio call between the detainee and his family through using the latest and most secured video communication devices.
All of this is done through the latest secured techniques that are compatible with the policy of privacy for the purpose of promoting communication between the detainee and his family.
